The movies of today weren't all that good, but summer made it better. This year was a no Ang Lee involvement on this one, but more frenchy like action.

Following with the same Tv drama this one made a huge impact, by define what truly is the hulk.

A rampaging, want to be alone, with a huge powerclap monster. And with a great villain like Tim Roth in the mix, it made so much green, that made the marvel studio into a powerhouse. And best of all the famous quote "Hulk Smash" made it more sweeter.

7-.Midnight meat train

This have to go to the best horror film of the year. Vince mute killing in the subway,

with a dark and mysteries remind us what it was like watching something that came out of Clive Barker. With blood and gore only a Japanese director can do. But knowing that it came from Liongate, that really didn't made a wide release. Ye got go underground to see it.

6-.Wall-E

Yeah i know the film ain't no finding nemo or a Incredibles. But ye got to amid a robot falling in love is something that can be rehash by bicentennial man. Wall-E brought a new type of a future where we thrashed it. With a tender tale, and some of the best visuals made in space, there's no goo ding wrong for a little robot, that all that needed is to hold hands.

Bill Maher is my king So He can ring. I made that yesterday in work. Is good to see a documentary that explain why is it that believing can cloud our mind. And taking us to where we are now. Bill Maher is a true visionary when it come to this topic, with sense and humor. And there's a real reason that we saw a pot head get he's hair burn.

Till gonna say it the stoner take on lethal weapon. Seth and James are the best team, since Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. That film had it tweak not so good, but when come to a rescue for a stoner, driving a police cop, with a foot in the window. Yeah there's a moment. Bu the film has it gag when it come to the great dialog, especially when it come to their first meeting of both of them. Is this year superbad, but is better call it another great stoner film.

The best comic film that had something that nobody had, a great comedy acting of Robert Downey Jr. This put marvel to expand there's library of superheroes, giving us the surprise that no other film have never did. With a story that follow pretty much to it origin. It made most nerd wasted their allowance to see it. But it was Robert sarcasm comedy, that made this film as one of the successes film of this year. 1-.Dark Knight

It is consider a comic movie, that really ain't that comic sh, the last and great performance from that late Heath Ledger, and where logic meat real life. The dark knight define all that ranking more than 500 mill world wide. That made Nolan into the great director of this year. With the reign of terror that joker put Gotham to, and with a very long short appearance of two face, that made this film even better. It making ya forget on that other film that it had a cool villain but in a very short short time. Raimi take note when you watch this.

The nazi films have been made most by various Europe film company, from the excellence Downfall, to the fake bill counterfeit. Both have been nominated by best foreign film. Now come something that can only be heard in the history book.

Project Valkyrie involve in the reservation army that the nazy had for any invitation. Their plan goes like this killed firs Hitler in he's bunker, then later send a message to the reserved army saying"that the SS are talking over and immediately send a warning of there arrest". Talking over all the government's building. With the support of General Olbricht(Bill Nighy), Ludwig Beck(Terence Stamp). Project Valkyrie is a go.

But thing change when they want someone more valuable then Hitler. Now is a matter of time when operation is taking place, but some of the party are starting to doubting if they go through. This is the story of the peoples who wanted to change Germany, and kill the monster that rule it.

Bottom line there's no real acting here. Cause most of the camera time is taken by Tom Cruise. Now hes performance ain't that bad, on he make it believe that he's a man who want change, and willing to change he's country. There's no background to some of this characters. Just a couple of men in a mansion plotting there next move. No drama of the family, no decision are gonna be made, just going with the plan. An it work.

Most of the story is focus on on how they pull the project, which really is good. From the time they make it their first intent, to the desperate time to get the bomb ready, following the same story narration of the inside man. The film is well toll from the perspective of the people that made the decision to change their government. I like also the start of the film showing the anthem and oath that they had to Hitler. but the best part go to when they think they have succeeded, and how they are already making the arrest.

Brian Singer didn't came well with he's last film, but coming back to the roots that he begun, there's no questioning the true art of the suspense. With great wide shot of the federal building, to the high tension that actor show. this films is a must. But it would work if they have shown some drama to the story.

The film is good not a Oscar worthy good, but good. This is the only film that right now is showing potential in being that great suspense movie that we waited on. So be the first and see that there were man that didn't agreed on the fuhrer command. That when theirs Tyranny, a conspiracy is gonna be made.

what spirit is this guy have?

this year have been a dossie, cause golden age hero's are making a comeback. From alex Ross Superpowers: reuniting superheros who fought the Nazi, just to be betray, and capture in a vase. Just to wake up to the 21st century, see everything have change. Then marvel did the same with their first superheros call the twelve. The golden age was the beginning of this genre, but later came a artist that change it, bringing the true art of comic book, directed by a man known as pioneer to modern comics. Bring today a very and uniquely film, but does it have the true spirit of it? here the review:

One day a officer by the name of Danny colt(Gabriel Macht) was shot, then one day he wake up in a coffin, he have to dig himself out, and look for help. A live he later discover, that he's body can resist any kind of damages or staving, deciding to be the mask hero, the protector of central city, a womanizer, a cat person, out to stop anyone who harm what he love. When word come out that the octupus(Samuel Jackson) is up to no good is up to the spirit to foil he's plant, but when one of he's lady friend Sand Sarf(Eva Mendez) gets involve, thing gets complicated. Now is business for the octopus to get the only thing that can kill the spirit. with the help of the commissioner(Dan Lauria) and central city finest, the spirit doesn't waste time to get the job done. But mystery begin to rise, when the octopus, try to find the chest that hold the key of immortality? And what connect him to our hero? he's on he's way.

OK the acting was fun from Gabriel macht, going all marv from the sin city film(which was frank first directing). From the way he speak to he's ladies, to the noir narration that film follow. Sam part was the best, i always knew this guy needed to be a villain, and surprise he brings, like Geoffrey Rush did in the pirates film. Eva mendez play like a rip off as one of the bond girl, with the same sensual, the teasing, and of course the butt. Scarlet performances was good as the hard always putting attention to your boss secret plan secretary. But my favorite that real brought the fun, with he's chuckles Louis Lombardi as phobo's octopus henchman, he's the man that can be kill cause with stupidity there's retardation to be happen.

Now the story wasn't the strongest of the movie, cause most of the time is talking, and explanation, and more talking. Are we seen the love life of the spirit. Most of the comic movies focus much on action than word, and there's no spirit here. It play well as a cereal movie from the early 20's or 30's. But fail to show the excitement of the mask hero. The argument that he have with the commissioner was like the only drama of the picture beside the sand sarf flashback story, the story go to a weird direction.

The visual are fun to see, knowing that Frank got that in he's time doing Sin city, is the artistic side that this film have. From the red tone when they re laying the coffin, to the long walk of Sarf in the alley. The running of the rooftop were already made but with marv. To the dark shade that the film have, it show the very dark noir that frank can only do. Now some of the lights give the same style that Jude law did, in sky captain.

So for he's first film, Frank might need more practice to get another. The acting was fun, but there were weird moment that really confuse it. Like sam in a Nazi uniform, what is that. Sure he added the most beautiful women in Hollywood but till is not enough. Frank knew Will Eisner, and he's character. But to reinvented in a movie not a wise choice.

So is winter and most of the worst heroes movies come out in the winter, than the spirit fit right in. Look Frank is a master of storytelling, i mean this is the guy who made the best batman story the dark knight. But making a movie, he needed a co-director for it.

Then came the Majestic, that when we never heard of him but trying so many comedian try, get a nomination from the academy. People started to question what happen when did the funny went, then came the suspense thriller of 23, that even made us forget him. Now he's back with the same gag, buffoon acting, and the joy to be a Carey fan. Yes is my review:

But when Allison find out that he's have to say yes to every thing. She find that he was been unfair about he's life, and the N o make comeback a ruined life start. Will he find a balances for he's decision, and will he win back Allison back?

Jim is back to he's old trick, yes some of hes gag are reminisces to hes other movies. The drunk sequences was kind of the same thing he did on the 1st ace ventura, but the fun he have with Zooey really is the fun of the film. Jim is not old fashion here, he does bring some goofines that have been missing in other film. With he's face been wrap with tape, to wearing a toddler sweater for a harry potter party, he's the fun of the picture. And lets not forget the riding on a bike with a hospital gown.

The story ain't nothing of the ordinary, following like films garden state, or like father like son.

Where they have miserable life, then something happen that change all that. Yes man actually give some fun to the character, that Jim was missing. He's acting is the same but with more fun that the people needed.

So winter ain't bringing any good film so give this one chance, cause we don't know when the next Will Ferrell or Steve Corral start pooping up. Invasion movies, is avery familiar genre that have two version of it. The alien kind to the barbarian one. Now 20 century fox is bringing something not so out of this world, but more humane and enviromental? Yeah is a weird concept. But if give it thought it kind work, but doesn't mean is gonna perfect. Even if neo is in the picture. Here the WASP of a review:

But Man reject, so they taken him to question him. Until he take control and escape, while in the world sphere like them star arriving in different place of the world. Taking animals from different species. While the government try to unravel the mystery, Klaatos is set to activate he's humanoid Cyclops of a bodyguard turning it into swap of insect that eats anything that it find. Now humanity existence lies in the hand of Dr.Benson to show our visitor, that there's more than being human.

Man have polluted the earth from the last time, is it worth to live for?

keanu act, was kind of a stiff, they didn't show any emotion, just wondering watching, saying so little of dialog. Jennifer act was dramatic, and very worry when it came to the whole saving the world thing, But till remind me the same act that Tom Cruise did on War of the world. The only performance that i like most, is Will Smith son Jade i love the whole concept of what he's father do, to even calling the cop on Keanu, but the best is when he take him to the cemetery so he can resurrect he's father. This boy is aim for a nom in the future.

Now the action of the film was nothing new, the swap thing is something that have already seen, hell even in a tex every cartoon they did that, of course those were termites. The transformation is a mix of body snatcher and starman. The arrival of the sphere was so close encounter, I was expecting more from the humanoid cyclops, than just standing there, like more of a Godzilla rampage way. The film suffer so much, cause it was supposed to be a disaster film, but there weren't.

Now the story that's have a nice direction, cause in the original, they came to destroy us from the nuclear weapon, now here they go the same with M. Night happening, that really didn't show anything valuable to it. I mean the concept wasn't bad, cause with the global warming thing everybody is making something of series or film. But did show on how right now humanity is. Of not taking anything lightly when it come to a foreign visitor. And the finally was one of the weakest cause on the original it had a moral when it came when Klaatos is shot, but here he, well that would been ruin the film.

The invasion is serious not so well done. So if ye going to see it then expect lot spectacle from the cgi part. But for the story is the drama of the kid that make it good. So is not your ID4 kind but more of a war of the world type.

There been many superheroes that used guns as their powers, from the x-men Cable, Bishop then Deadpool. To even the female ones the black widow, Silver sable. But non can top the fury of fully loaded magnum use of the Punisher. Is not a sequel, but another reinvention, told in the way he s tragedy is, Ray Steveson pick up the gun from where Thomas left, but will this third shot, hit the charm. Well they didn't went all Garth Ennis with this one:

With the help of micro(Wayne knight) who pact him with the gear he need. But jigsaw is always one step ahead, especially when it come to the close ones. Hunted by a fbi agent Paul Budiansky(Colin Salmon) and NYPD Det.Martin Soap who wan t him to rott in a cage. Raise your army, cause this gonna be a one man mission.

Ray Stevenson is by far a very impressive and serious Punisher, and he got the mug for it. He raise the bar when it come to the violence of the film. Dominic performance is like your average stereotypical Italian american mobster, made for a family film, i mean really Disney could have hire him for another. Colin performance was to average, the agent that end helping the hero, that can anyone say fantastic four2. Wayne knight have could have some fun moment, from how to bring Castle gun to even tracing the bad guys. Dash Mihok character wasn't that bad, with he's side gag dialog to the a very nice end, he bring some good slapstick(speaking) to the film.

The action that the film have been reused, like the chandelier hanging, it kind remember of a Boondocks stunt, and the transformation of billy was serious taken from Tim Burton Batman, when the joker look at the mirror. The Real fun come when it come to the satirical recruitment that jigsaw and he brother do, that was a lot fun when their standing behind the projection showing the American flag. Now this is the true vision of the punisher world, the violence, and there to much of it there's no wonder Ray was good in he's performance on Rome. But going all campy really confuse it, cause you really don't know is it a serious dark film or a just another late chucky crap flick?

The lightning that it had, made it look darker, just the right tone to what the comic is about. I li red was the right one for the punisher. Lexi Alexander direction to the film was a nice touch to it, from the many panel that show from the beginning of the film, to the relationship that the girl have with Castle, The women knows sensitivity when she see it. But just the acting felt like she already done ABC family films, or even worse Hallmark.

So to close the film extreme violence fit the character, but the direction of the acting just make it confuse, cause there's one liners that is already seen. Thomas James film was pretty good, but didn't have that dark element that make this one perfect. So is pretty much of both previous film that make it into a miss, is brutal in a fun kind of way.

Im huge Oliver stone fan, he's films have define a new style in making film. covering the real time of war, to the intrigue of politicas.The way he focus most on the character than the story, he's visual are invented. Controversial is he's name in most of he's films. And he untouchable doing it. But when it came to the event of the world trade center, the man that define just made, now he taking he's direction to the white house, with he's latest politic bio, of the most recent (and late) President Bush, heres my speech of a review:

The world of W. focus, on the life and struggle of a man who once was average frat boy, drinking, to becoming to the man that we know today as the new president. Covering from he's time in Yale to the many summer jobs to the candidacy to become congress of Texas. A man who couldn't stand up, or even have he's pappys praises. He fought against he's drinking, stand up to be the true Texas man that he is to be governor, and to see the shine of god to be the president.

Leader and mistake, this is what meant to be president, when you become the most powerful man of the world, and the error that comes. This is the life of George W. Bush.

Josh Brolin kick it off the wall since Anthony Hopkins play Nixon. For Oliver was a wise choice on picking him, worth for a Oscar nomination. Dreyfus's performances of Rumsfeld was perfect, that you only needed a SNL comedian to pull it off. James Cromwell give he's best straight edge act, that really convince you on what the father was expecting from he's son. I wish they could have giving more time to Elizabeth Bank, she hardly convince me been Texan.

Now the way they focus on he's life was not what i expected, i mean i wish they could show more. From Yale to the time that he became campaign manager to he's father. I mean what really love of the film was their relationship that Bush had with he's father, always looking for he's approve on how to live he's life. The best moment of the film have to go when it come on the planning in Iraq (Dreyfus's is king in that.). But what bother on the whole film was the many mistake that he did. and just that. I mean there more than that. like the bad publicity he had cause of her daughters drinking. And see how did he got along with the brother.

Now the direction of Oliver were good, specially when came to the dream sequences that bush have in the baseball fields. And the reunion where good. Look what makes this film great, is the life of today political career. Oliver did focus much on the life of Bush, but more on the relationship with he's dad. I admire him the way he do the research for every of he's film. But there was something more missing with he's life. Cause is pretty strange to see a 35 year old man, hanging with 20 somethings.

The film is great not perfect, this doesn't mark the return of the master that we know of Oliver Stone, cause hes best political Bio go to Nixon. Here he just making something that we already saw, but more of a Texan way. cause the true star of this film go to Brolin, that he very well be the De Niro of our time.

o blessed the jhorror, finally making a clive barker film.

Finally i saw the film that mark the best of horror that can afford in the summer. there that many film that deserve a wide release, like certain one that i know(Repo). I dont understand what made this didn't. With great shot, great story and sunpense, this film is a must to all horror and Clive baker fan. What interesting is directed by the man that brought the grudge one and the follow up, with everything that i said, the movie is a gore venture:

Leon Kauffman(Bradley Kooper) is a struggling photographer in New york, living in a partment with her girlfriend Maya(Leslie Bibb). And living with a picture on everyday, but having them in display in one of famous gallery of the city, a rejection is not option for him. So one night he go out to take some photo of the citizen that live the night, but when he save a girl from some gangsters in the subway, later discovering of her disappearance's on the morning paper. Intrigue he head to the subway every night, and always seen the same tall, silent, Irish looking man (Vince Jones)carrying he black bag, and always taking the midnight train. following him, he discover he's a butcher working in a slaughterhouse, but when the meat is done is time for some victim to hang. Taking Leon to a dark obsession in the metro, where he's art of taking photo is. But when Maya is in the picture, it become desperate matter, to save her. Get off the next station and don't ride the next one, when the hammer is on you.

Vince Jones is the best darkest, and scariest tall guy since Jason. With great acting Lock and stock, to one of my fav horror fest film 07 Tooth n nail. This British actor, also made the X-men 3 fun with he's famous phase "I m the juggernaut ·$%&/". Bradley, made this picture even more suspenseful, with he's curiosity that take him the same way to Neil in the Mouth of madness.

The shot are one the best in the film, specially when it come to final stand off. the Effect look cheesy not so Hollywood, but it work, some of the resolution shot work, when Leon follow him to the slaughterhouse, Hitchcock would been proud.

Now the gore that is where the money is. I'm wont hide it some it seem kind off Campy, when it came to the hammer shot to Sam Raimi(yes the director of spider man one) and the eye balls come out. that's was little ridiculous. But when it come to the stripping, that were the disgusting come to full gore. Most of the killing are made with the hammer that really give to the premise to the film, and is great that someone is using it, cause not since leatherface made his film debut, but just hammering he's first victim.

This film would half been in my top ten films of the summer. Period. So Liongate try to have shame on ya, from hiding a great horror film, that only Ryuhei Kitamura can do. Proving my theory that never doubt the jap when it come making great gore film example Battle Royale(damn you new line when are you making the remake).

So this is must when it come to great story line, and whole of suspense. You just got get up, and look for it anywhere you can. Cause film like this deserve the much attention than any Barbara Walter special. Period.

Hey a least they didn't when all goth on this one, just emoish

Vampire films have always been a very hot calamity, turning them into gay people, or worse Babara Streisand, very ghoulish. Now come Twilight, take the genre in a very josh whedon direction, the film ain't that dark, just very outdoorish. But does it work, well the vampire were originated in books, but how about films. here the missing of blood review:

Isabella(Kristen Steward)is just your average mix up teen, leaving Arizona behind and moving to a new town, of fork where he father is the sheriff, she settle in, hardly. At the beginning of the new semester, she start to have curiosity with he's biology partner, a very serious and calm person that have the name of Edward(Robert Pattinson), who form part of the family of the Cullen. One day while Bella was getting out of the car, a van was gonna hit her, until out of nowhere Edward stop it with he's bare hand, now she of to find the true of he's existence raveling everything she knows, coming to one conclusion a vampire. So now Edward let her in to he's world, from he's powers, family and the true of why doesn't kill human. But a series of killing been happening on fork, that most are made by fang. So when a new pack come to town, one have the feast on Bella. So will Edwards keep her safe? or will he's taste of human blood say something?

The acting on the film felt like very sadden from the narration of Kristen to the whining of Edward. Most of this actors are new, and some of them i haven't heard of them. The film have a very depressing tone to the voice, with the mystery to the jokes. For me the best act have to go to Cam Gigandet who play avery dark Hannibal interpretation.

Now the story, it work well as a introduction to the world of twilight, and the power that the vamp have. It doesn't work in a type of like interview, but well on the characters, i mean is the first seen vamp in the great out doors. changing the tone of color from dark to dark blue.
I was very intrigue in the relationship that the vamp have with the natives. Like there some history on both side, but there something i didn't get are the native werewolf, cause really the underworld thing don't work for me.

Cathatrine Hardwicker direction which i always like from her first film thirteen, does bring some human drama to the film, but fail when it come making to the supernatural. I think it fell flat in the part when it came meeting the Cullen, cause i was more interesting to the one that can see the future.

Now to the bummer of the picture have to go when this vamp are expose to light, they shine , i mean the literally shine like your wife wedding ring which i felt it a very feminist touch. Look i know most of the very vampire film try to follow the basic rules, but this one just turn it into a jewel store. Hey i know Tom cruise when all gay on interview, but this one make it more pink.

So the film work as a teen drama, in a sense of 16 candle. A perfect date movie or better yet chick flick. So if you planning to see some blood, well there isn't, just a lot of whining that make the most emos happy.

Yes the guys of Tinseltown are now borrowing films from other countries, and ruin them hard, so ask a question"Why they haven't take one of our film?".

We got the Drama(Just look at the drama we got thank to the corruption), we got action(northern way, huey), and of course the funny(that all we got just lemme talkshows).

So come on gringo give a look to our film library, and remake them in a way, ye did to the asian.

What i always love of the 007 franchise. That is a series that it doesn't have decade that made it popular , that have continue giving a new spin to the world of espionage. Also making the actor that play the dashing agent, a name to remembering(except for George Lazenby). the series have introduce us to the beuty of europe, the action, villains who want to rule world, and of course the ladykiller. that made the phrase"shaken not stir" a instant pop culture saying. Now the series have gone to a new direction that it haven't, a direct sequel. So is this one better than royale, let me answer you with this, rope fighting:

Hand down, ever since the release of Casino Royale Greg daniel must be the baddest and grittier Bond of all time. This time is up the anti, with great performances, from the "i m not not going down without a fight" attitude to the quirky remark that all James are know for. And this time he have a villain that he fight,Almaric look is by far the most sinister that one can see, i mean seriously the man know how to swing a ax. Then let not forgot Olga, her action scene started with a damsel in distress act, but later is change into something sweet and poison like Drew Barrymore's Poison Ivy. And what can i say for Judy Dench, till the best M that one agent can take, and funny too.

The action sequences are by far better, longer, and good, that make the Bourne film out of comision. Right now i say this the fights are the best when it come to going brawl. Yeap no Kung fu, no books for a weapon just pure window crushing, and some old bloody fist. By far the Rope scene, that is something that not even the guys that did that wire work on the matrix could ever make it that great. Plus the climax scene are by far the best, literal similar to the Vienna house, but works, when you add the fire do it. The car chase weren't that good, but nice elaborated, when it come to the police car falling, same go to the boat ride.

Greg Daniel is define the Bond series, sure he make us look bad cause really we never gonna have that many foreign ladies in our bed. But he knows how to look bad into Good. Now the fifth installment, start a new beginning with a whole new cast, and more secret to the man that we call Jigsaw. But is this one better than the last, or is just the gore that sell it, cut your wrist for this one:

Following in the event of saw 3 and 4 Detective, have finally solve and end Jigsaw reign of torture, receiving a promotion with higher standard, detective Hoffman(Costas Mandylor), until he find a envelope that said"Iknow who you re" putting the story in motion. Meanwhile 5 new victim are awaken to find chain up, and to start listening to the rules then play. With just their mistrust will doom them, taking them to every kind of death possible, from decapitation, to exploding, to electrocution, and finally give blood to survive and win the game. Will Agent Strahm find the connection between Det. Hoffman and jigsaw? Will the new players, solve every test they are giving and what bind them, to be choosing to be the next victim. Is time to play a game. Where rehabilitation is the name of the game.

O k there something i got to say about this sequel, first i felt like i seen it, and two for me the gore is what make it watchable. The story of the movie, is a mixture of saw 2 and saw4. Why?

if you know on two, the story is 8 people are put together in abandon building full of traps, that take me to the 5 new victim, that is pretty much the same, the only different that it have, in this trap they have to solve it as a team, which got a good twist to it. Comparing it to 4, the whole cat and mouse chase that the Strahm have on Hoffman, gave the same sense to the whole operation-that Rig have in following the clues to find hes partners, every point he go, a new trap await him, with a life hanging in the balance. The movie didn't have much acting in it, accept to Tobe Bell performance that it just minor, but it does cover most of the loophole that the series had. By giving flashback to the time that jigsaw was alive, revealing that that hes wasn't alone doing the traps. It does fail, telling who's the new jigsaw, but the test make the movie more enjoyable.

That take me to that, most of the trap are new, and well craft, that it can be compare to the previous ones. From the pulling of the neck collars, to breaking the jars to find the keys of the door, to connecting 5 electrical wire to a tub, to open a 5 electrical lock door, and finally donating blood with a saw. My favorite go the electrical tub course there something that you wont find in any of the series, yes there's lot of blood, and squirming, that most of this riming ya of old school Argento films. From opera to some suspiria. We all know it, is the hardcore gore that sell it.

For first time director David Hackl it wasn't it bad, in the trap and the suspense, most of the transition that the film work very well. My only concern go to making a right story, i m just bother, that we already knew who was the next jigsaw, since 4. But either that the film accomplish entertainment with the horror that have. I'm huge gore hound(yes i know i have a addiction), but the film completes. The story ain't interesting, not even the suspense cant save it for making it a great saw film. My favorites are always gonna be the first 3, cause the 4th really was confusing, to understand the guideline, and the continuity. But overall is till make ya squirm.

So is Halloween, and the saw saga, is continuing hard, but either be the reason to see it, if ya a fun or just see it cause there's nothing on cable(beside the high rates of the bill) the movie is ok.

So don't focus to much on the story but more on the suspense that it got to offer. Cause really is the torture that make it the one and only. Now if we only knew what was inside of the black box, that jigsaw left to he's wife? i bet ya it was this:

Cop film are a great delicatessen, always showing the life of a officer, and he duty, and family. Some come from the bad Training Day to the underrated Narc. Life are always broken from the start, then later explore the madness they take, to get the job done. Then there some that just all about the action, from the Beverly hill cop series, to the bad boys film. Enter Max Payne a very new cop film that does have all the action but so little of the drama, and is based on a video game. Heres the review:

Mark Wahlberg gave a great performances in the departed, that gave him a nomination, as bad cop he play, he doesn t bring nothing new to this character, he very well be the next dirty harry of this decade. Mila mean girl look, didn't cut it, cause really she more of a Hill kind of girl, here she's more of a machine gun woman, that demand more lower prices for her close. Ludacris, better stick with more on he's rapping, cause really he doesn't even have a good cop look.

Beau Bridges, was more of a father figure than of a best friend.

The visual were good, taking note to some film from trainspotting to sin city. It doesn't follow the black and white, but more of a gray tone to give that crime drama fell. The film try to have the same feel of other action film, but really it come of cross of blade with some visual of Constantine.

The whole valkyrie illusion, made it more interesting, but sometime confuse it cause you don't know is those thing are doing the killing or is it Max doing it.

The shoot out were great, a very john woo touch, but thank there weren't any dove, to follow, there little bullet time in the film, but it made it look cheap, cause they didn't made it as the matrix, but more of Chinese style. From film like The Hard boil to Die hard, the film feel more of a cliche, cause is all about payne looking for some payback, without discovering the drama of it.

So the film is a blend, of all action cop film, with so little of drama, video games movies have always end very badly when release. But there really good, ones to bad for this is more of a remake of the worst cop game call Narc(not the Joe carnahan film). the only thing that make it good is the story, of the conspiracy, from there on, well is just something that we seen in a die hard film.

Director Fernando Meirelles made City of god, it show the true life on growing up in the poorest zone of brazil, selling drug, corruption, and war. A movie that follow a true life, received, in manny festival's, even a oscar nomination for best foreign film. Now following with human emotion, he give us he's next picture, about a disease that make ya go blind. But is this film good or illogical, Well i can see my review:

IN average day people go to work, then go home to spend time with their love ones. But when a outbreak is release, that the country announce a state of emergency, presuming of a virus that make ya go blind. So the infected are taken into abandon Hospital where they have beds, pillow, but nothing of help or security. Just your hearing, smelling, and touching sense can guide them. That's where a immune one(Julienne Moore) bring hope to the infected, in ways on how to live. But when the hospital is full of infected, desperation come. From putting a price on the food, to the integrity of survival. Mankind must follow the eyes of a Doctor wife, to make it in a world, where seen is just all white.

OK i got to say the acting is very humane like in many drama film, Juliane Moore take most of the credit for this picture, cause really been the only one that can see, and take care of everybody, that's facing a huge responsibility. The story give you a very good perspective on the life of a blind, from watching the step, to getting through to life, to where to go the bathroom. Is very interesting, on how one self could be very invurable without watching. But of course there's that point where the government doesn't do anything to solve the problem, it follow some film like dustin huffman outbreak, or Neil marshal Doomsday, or the mist. Where there lot of people in one place, when suddenly anarchy breakout.

Now here's the funny part most this film they do research on finding a cure, this one doesn't. There's no origin on how it star, it just one Asian go blind then another, starting a whole epidemic. And why didn't they take consideration on Julian character that she was immune to the contagion. There something that made this film very confusing cause really is this drama, or a sci fi flick.

I understand where this film was headed, very simple theme living with blindness, and trying to survived. But there's no real explanation on what cause it. I mean in i am legend, they show the starting of the virus, giving detail on the virus and how it evolve. Here's is just like domino one get blind then moment later there's another one. They should have least told what line of work was the first infected, then how it got it.

There's many loop hole in the picture, that should something new, on the theme of going blind , then the problems that follow. I think what made this film even more hard to see is the scene where the women sell their body to get the food. Is something for the female audience couldn't stand. the movie is very touching in a way on giving a glimpse of life of a blind life, but doesn't tell what stated it. Which is more confusing than Lisa Lohan lovelife.

Do you know how hard it was, to look for a theater, that is showing this film. I mean seriously in San Diego you need so much a donkey, then renting it in Tijuana. I mean lighten up, when it come to a documentary that touch the theme of religion. So where i saw it in hillcrest, in what happen to be the cleanest, nicest, and helpful community (a gay one) Is like san fracisco, but more colorful.

Plus on the cinema that i saw it there werent any protester, i mean where are they, cause really there were lot senior making line for this film, and till no sing saying"this is blasphemy" or "Maher don't know nothing of Jesus", shhe, i mean where they preying for god to unleash he's anger to anyone who saw it, or they prefer see another rerun of touch by a angel. Here my might of review:

Take a view, of what is religion and the effect that it have to people, to think twise when it come exploiting it. There's no other documentary that prove that you need a IQ test to be senator. Except for this one.

Well the film is something to aplause at. There been many film have touch this subject, from Jesus camp, to the one. But this is just a laugh a way from heaven. The point of the doc show some fact that when it come to religion believe in it, any kind, to everything. Showing fact, that really some of it is just plagiary to another. But really what also shows that there's peoples making money of it.

My favorite subject they touch was on the Muslim, cause they are very sensitive to their believe, knowing well there's some that take it to another level. O r when it come to the homosexuality, on how there saying that god hate them. Knowing that in the bible it said nothing about it. Bill Maher took a bold move of making it. And exposing the many thing that is wrong with some religion.

The documentary doesn't make fun on anything, but make ya think that all time that someone keep believing in something, make him lost on what life he haves. Knowing the true problems that the world of today have(the crisis economic, global warming, war). And believing that when the second coming of Jesus come, the world will end. That's why is always important that there's film like this that we make ya think on how to believe. And on what way do to it.

I also like to point out the best moment of the film. When he's interviewing a Minister of pot, when suddenly he shout"your hair on fire, making him jump of the the sofa, See kids the effect of marijuana, it will make ya believe in anything. That could very well work as a slogan. Love the insert of the film from a cartoon Adam jerkin a wood, to the very scene of Scarface. There some joy to it.

So to conclude, i have family that are religious, to friend who are anti semi. That for me i respect their belief, cause they don't talk about it everyday or convincing me to be one with them.Cause fate on oneself,make us do anything without believing in a so call"Lord" that would do it for us, that what the film is all about. Bill is a reasonable guy that show exposing a belief is dangerous, than been furious to someone. So take a chance to see it, and clear your mind on what truly believe, change .

Well is another Shia Lebouf film so that mean another suspense, thrilling with the"no,no,no"man, he give hes' best politic excitement lot better that transformers. Michelle is always play the doubt, that i can do it character of the film, but man can she drive good, Hey universal out put her on the next Fast and furious sequel. Billy Bob is the man when it come with the jokes, he's is funny for once, since Bandit. And Rosario, well she as always the female tough cop, who knows what to expect.

Following movies like Enemy of the state and big brother, another example on how a simple computer can rule one life or everything. Yes we have seen this kind of film, from 2001 Space Odissy Hal 9000 to terminator skynet. But this one is different with show how just average people become target to what happen to be a conspiracy. seen in global frequency a graphic novel written by Warren Ellis. Most of this subject are already made, but i cant say is a bad movie, but perhaps something that can entertain us this fall with summer over, the only good action flick out there well, that when i talk about the action.

Is rare to see a film that capture the attention , at sundance, cause really all they show is drama, some pretty calm comedy, not so great documentaries, more drama, dysfunctional family movies, more drama, gay love, and yes more drama. The last good movie was Napoleon Dynamite, that show a very funny and original characters, that became into a cult hit. Now this year, a very musical religion shakespearean film make it mark by doing a direct sequel play of one of the greatest story. Read the review:

The story is your typical remember the titan type, but with more offensive dialog, from the way he start writing the play, to anything that Poehtler say. The film is great with fun moment's, that not even a midnight nightmare(the movie) can make fun. I felt is was Steve that took most the gag of the film, than Yolanda getting the hit of the movie. To even the first meeting of Elizabeth. But the music is grease with some offensive word from Kevin smith make this movie more derange.

There ain't many fun films that come out from the sundance festival. But this one is the contrary, that made very well be a cult hit, so Broadway give space to the next film to go theatricaly, in such. So come on folk lets go with sexy Jesus. i did and here's my proof:

Now he's we be racing with the best mechanics the coach(Ian Mcshane) and the very hot latin navigator Case(Natalie Martinez), facing all kind of challenges from he's arch rival Machinber guy joe(Tyrese Gibson), the dreaded half of a football stadium truck dreadnaut, to the man that kill her wife. This aint no fast or furius crapt, or another drive sequel, this is racing as the killing point, where the life's are run over, speed are the main weapon's, for ratings. Jason Statham role, is like he's previous films, from the transporter to crank, in other word he's always on speed. Joan character was nothing original playing as the manipulator of the game, having the same resemblances to Meryl Streep in the devil wear Prada, just to serious. Tyrese Gybson well got to wait for him until transformers 2. The character who really gets the laugh of the movie go to Ian McShane, he's role ain't anything out of the ordinary. But he always get the best lines.

The film story have so much in common to adam sandler the longest Yard, same the warden want to get the best athlete, for he's jail, later rig the sport, threading him. Yeah we have seen that so many time, so what make it worth watching, the crashes, and the action Paul always know he's art for making action film, and here 's he deliver, from the driving over the plates that activated the weapon's or the traps of the car to the introduction of the dreadnought(taken the name from the biker gang of the G.I Joe) were the real suspense comes, i mean i never seen something that got (by saying) a tank cannon of a bottom. It was great that Paul put the actual producer off Roger Corman to produce it, and i swear that the original frankenstein David Carradine appearing at the beginning of the film. Paul deliver another action summer flick, closing the summer with it. Ain't got nothing of good acting. But the racing and the action make it for a DVD must. The clone wars era have been cover by books, dark horse comics, even a cartoon series. But now it seem their more to tell, that's whne we're introduce to Anarki padawan. Taking to a whole new direction from real life, to old school animation, cg is the next stop from the Galaxy far far away, a prelude to the upcoming Cartoon network series, here's my force of a review:

Taking place during episode 2 and 3, the republic are losing the clone wars, while more planets join the separatist. The jedi, lose more chanses to win the war. When a group of renegades kidnap the notorious criminal Jabba the Hutt son, the republic are call. So is up to the now Jedi Knight Anarki Skywalker, and he's new Funny, over her head, smart little one padawan Ahsoka Tano, to rescue him, and bring him to tattoine, in return the republic will receive some strategic plans, to take the advantage for the war. But there 're evil force's lurking to prevent it. Will they successfully rescue Jabba child or will they fail? The war is on.

the strong, and charismatic(i m not gay here) Obi won play it right of course, is the same acting he gave in the previous star wars film, only he was voice by James Arnold Taylor. Anarki was funny for the first time(in a more sarcastic way i mean) he's strategic and of course the nanny for he's new apprentice make the movie more fun. The best villain go to asaj Ventress voice by Nika Futherma bring the dark tone on what a evil sith is(hey is the closes villain we gonna get since phantom menaces Darth Maul). But the one that i enjoy the most go to smart antic of Ahsoka voice by Ahsley Drane which bring the same sense humor since the first star wars, and giving Anarki a run for he's money when it come for strategic moves(In other words she play a nice role for pushing the skywalker buttons).Is great to see that Samuel Jackson is the voice of Mance Windo for just one scene, But the same go to great and now a star wars icon Christopher Lee to return he's role as Count Dooku.

The action is the same way, is great they used new camera angles from the first person view to the third, the Jedi duels were fun and great, but there were time that someone was pulling the string, the Action doesn't stop bringing same battle style from the second episode to the 3rd. But what like the most(again,) is on how Ahsoka wield her lightsaber, in a more satoichi kind a way, new to the star war universe, the same go to the secret apprentice of dark vader from the upcoming video game the Force Unleashed, that handle the same way ,but who was first? who cares. Is also nice to see again the double lighsaber from Ventress. Now the climbing action was nice for a film like that, not even stallone could come up since rolling cliffhanger.

The animation style is same style of Genky's first clone series, which was great. Cause it have a very unique and very Ant Bully tone. I also notice that some of the coloring was made with water brushes that something that you don't see much in Cg films. If they have gone more like Advent children way, would made it even better? my answer no. Cause really is time that star wars show some comedy, than their previous Ewoks films. I mean really are they suppose to be funny or what.

So don't expect it to be like another epic star wars film, cause this usually cover the clone wars, and not the evolution of Anarki to Darth Vader. Is demographic is children so is funny, but the action is what make it better, of course there's violence, but hey knowing that today youth are playing violent video games, so is ok.

So if you planing to tell your 3 year old that you saw it, you better dress like Elmo, cause they understand that way. Kids and adult with laugh and excited for the new instalment of this saga. Cannot wait for the series cause is on a great start. Now if only we can convince the Lucas guys to start making a Han Solo film or series, that would complete my life.

Hand down go to Robert Downey jr, this year's go to him, from Iron man to he transition for playing the Vince rhymes role well done, and also for having the best lines of the film. Ben's is actually good when it come to the simple jack character that make ya wonder is it really the actors playing special people, or are they in to it. Jack Black can beat Courtney love to a punch, with he's snoring depression personality. But Brandon T. can be the best co actor to give robert downey chance to play in a black movie. Danny Mcbridde love him on Pineapple, give this man more role than Kathie Griffin. But the best go to Tom Cruise, finally he's jumping on the oprah show pay off, for this one, this guy doesn't shut he mouth when it come to ransoming a actor.

The action is full knock starting in a very apocalypse now way, and follow to a missing in action moment. From the star of the film god bless there someone who remember to make fake trailers than Ben Stillers. I mean really they show Satan's Alley a gay monk really with Tobey Maguire. Yeah they say grindhouse was forgotten, Danny take a shunk of nature by saying the best line in the film, by exploding a quarter jungle of Vietnam. the action was something coming from a very early Steven Sea gal movie.Jack Black fighting with the asian kid was something that can seen in he's last voice work Kung Fu Panda, but let this guy take the drop on. By far the best Moment go to Ben running while a kid stab him from the back than later throwing it. Best scene of all summer movies. period.

The only bad that can find from this film, is that start slow with first some comedic dialog, than later moving to the physical. There been other film that have follow this same routine from a certain Ben Affleck film. But they should star taking notes on how to make some more side gag.

The team done it right, and there no exception is funny than tom performance in born on the 4Th of July. Ben Stiller have a future for directing, so he better make some more.
