the title said it all.

Is not your average comic book movie. Cause really all it said people just wearing costume. There have been lately this kind of films, from Woody Defendor, to the drug inducing Special. Showing common people doing thing that only in comic book exist. Matthew Vaughn Brought to us something rare, that many critic have already calling it a mix of Taratino with Superhero. And their right, here's the review:

Aaron Johnson(Dave Lizewski) Was your average teen geek in high school, Always been ignore by girls, been rob in he's nearest comic books store, always same night in the computer throwing tissue in the thrash. Until one day he's fascination off comic, inspire him to become a mask vigilante, and fight some crime. Giving he's name of Kick Ass, as he's first intend of fighting bad guys, land him on the hospital being stab. He's second gave him some bruising, but fought until the end, and already becoming a in star, thank to the Internet. That whole city took notice of he's act. And motivating others, to pick up a costume, and fight some crime. Enter the father n daughter crime duo, known as Big daddy n Hitgirl(Nicoles Cage/Chloe Moretz) taking it to a whole new level that make some mafia boss piss. Frank D.Amico put a price on kick ass for shutting down he's operation, and for killing the boys. So when he sent He's son Chris D.Amico(Christopher Mintz Plasse) to find him. Thing star to get bloody, with mask on them.

I think Aaron acting, was very obvious, but funny, in the form that he narrated the whole film, and explaining the whole concept of what make a hero. But the guy hit it out the ball game when came to the brutal beating that made it. Far entertainig. Mclovin Chritopher Mintz, gave a not so thrilling performances, just more of a car salesman showing off he's mist mobile. Mark Strong already is a gangtar, i mean where did they discover this guy. Making he's performance role so greedy, mean, and just play out bad guy. He already is leaving actor Sean Bean without a bad guy role. Nicole's play the geekiest dad ever(with some gun fetishes). Pull some nice move. But not so Nicer as her cos star that took the film Chloe Moretz. This little girl show us. To not be menacing with her, when yer playing some halo. The girl became as the new slasher, and john woo star of the year. I mean she actually says the best line of the film. So ye best stay away from her, when she have a butterfly knife.

I haven't read the adaptation of the comic that is based on. But Mathew did he's homework right. The man really play right with the story giving one of the character their story, and their background, and putting some faithful things to it, that come straight out of the comic. Cause trust me what i heard is more extreme, and dark. Hes action scene, were by far he's best, from Hit girl corridor gunfight, to Kickass beat down. Even the night vision shooting were a masterpiece, very stylish, in the way that he's gaming side inspire him to do it. Something Doom never did right(not even putting the rock as the villain). I really appreciate the most, when he let the actual artist of the comic book John Romita Jr. Drawing the original story of Of Big Daddy n Hit girl, their reason over Frank D.Amico. Something that only in spider man two which as the beginning saw the art of Alex Ross. Nice. And the music was OK in the aspect of how well play in every scene of the film. I love the spaghetti Western the most.

Matthew Vaughn came out as Guy Ritchie second director. Now he already is gonna star filming the new x-men movie. Making he's first movie all about crime, and the second a fantasy(also related to a comic). Took a huge risk, to finance this film, and making it. Into what so happen to be the very best comic book movie of the year.(Knowing that title already iron man2 has it)

So another thing:

This is it my 100 review, yo all. I mean 3 years it took me to get it. I know my life suck, but thank to this blog that got me into the thing i like the most watching, and bitching about movies. I also put my famous top ten of everything, beside some Mexican jokes. But it was a great trip to financing and writing this review. And also adding a dedication to a dear friend.

I mean this it was great achievement that Mexican ever did, beside been corrupt than the president of the country. I know their ain't people reading it, but god felt good doing it.

I gonna stop for a while, cause i really wanna work on something on this occasion, and make something different.

But really this have been a great accomplishment, that no word need to describe it. Even better cause really a movie like Kick Ass was something that i needed, to get my amp high.

so if ye one the guys pelandome(gave a rat ass to my blog)

Thank you.

And see ya on the next media.

Well it was epic, but for beginning it works.

Well we all know the story, of the infamous Robin hood. he's mode always was steal from the rich, and give to the poor. With so many reincarnation, from novel, tv series, etc. There's a new version, directed by Ridley Scott, and starring gladiator Russell Crow. But it beg is it good, to steal, or rather be left to the rich?
Here's my arrow of review:

King Richard(Danny Huston) was running he's campaign all over France, where a archer and he friend fight at he's side. Robin Longstride(Russell Crow), where he's friend Little john(Kevin Durand), Will(Scott Grimes), and the musician Allan(Alan Doyle) fight with all their might, until they escape. Soon after the King ha fallen. A group of knight travel back to London to give the announcement, until they are ambush by French knight lead by Godfrey(Mark Strong). In their way Robin and he's friend are caught in the fray.
By now they find their one way ticket to home. As disguising as knight, and return the crown.
Meanwhile back in Nottingham Lady Marion(Cate Blanchett) is having trouble on plating, cause everyday her farm is been rob by a pact of orphan Hoodlum. In London News came of the death of the king that Prince John is name as the new, As for robin and he's merry man head to Nottingham, where they are receive as hero, Lady Marion welcome Robin to her house, where he meet the Lord of the country side. A telling him about the death of he's child. Meanwhile back on London, King John star to cause trouble when he sent he fellow man Godfrey to ambush and storm every village, taking everything of their wealth. Knowing soon that he actually a french spy, preparing a invasion. That London wont be knowing. Back Robin star to enjoy of he's new life, with all he friend, until trouble come. This is only the beginning of a legend that save England, and defeated the French. Outlaw he was, but hero became.

Well i got say the chemistry of all the actors were good, is like having a party in a bar, or better yet High School. Russell play he same all hero title that he done before. From Proof of life, to gladiator. Cate Blanchett play her best foolish, and amazon warrior in years, not Oscar worthy but fair. Oscar Issac should have been the villain, cause unfairness to he's role, that he transformation of hero of war was just blain.

Well it play out more of a epic(that Ridley is always good on doing), but it fell flat. By the middle of the film, when their just talking about starting a civil war. But the way is told was good, but there were so many changes, wasn't the forest Sherwood, And lady Marion was in fact a princes?
Well what ever they did, entertain. The way Of the archer was the prime focus when it came to the battles. This is more of the origin, of what made Robin the legend that he is know. But of course the changes, we didn't see the star of he's stealing, well just one scene, after that. Is just some sword slashing.

Ridley really want it to turn it into a epic that it work. But come on this guy is a hero, and a thief at the same time, that should be the prime focus of the film. The changes they did, really got me of guard. I m sticking to the classic. But it work for passing the time.

i sleep fine after watching it.

The first time i saw the original, with scare in your face Robert England.
Gave me the experience of watching a scary movie at the age of 5. Birthing my first nightmare. Also been the day that i pray for the sun to come up. Now take 3 tequila shot, ye get them for a whole week(and i dont mean the drink). Now a remake came out, made by the same studio that did the awesome Friday the 13.
But is it scary to suffer some insomnia, or is it like watching a late 90 sequel of it.
Here my cutting review:
A series of killing have been happening in the town Of Spring wood, related to their dream. Describing them as a man wearing a hat, and a glove with claws. Tormenting them to kill them. When Nancy(RooneyMara) star to investigating, with the help of loner emo kid Quentin(Kyle Gallner) to discover the man with the claw glove. Taking them to discover a dark secret that their parent have been hiding from them. But first they must stay a wake. Cause freddy(James Earle Haley) is coming to get ya.
Well the acting on this film fell something out of a crime novel, or worst troma film. I mean i dont get this Generation cw kid. Is so much drama they too, why dont they take it to seriously, some of the line are well used(from other movie). Look their so much sadness and rebel with a cause. that really fall. But on other hand James role as the nightmare killing Freddy wasn't that bad, i love the voice he gave that really seem convincing. Especially when came to the killing i mean is not better than Robert England, but it work.
Now the story was really a rehash of the first one, that really made the film pointless, Why you ask? Well cause you feel that you already saw it, i mean it was good they have the secret that their parent were hiding. And of course the flashback scene that really gave a new refresh to the film. But after that i think it lost their touch of imagination, i mean the glove in the tub, then the discovery of the cave, i mean that part felt more like the first ring. Then there some scene they have to borrow from other movies, case in point the adrenaline shot in the chest, can you say pulp fiction, And "spoiler alert" freddy decapitation speech, that so freedy vs jason.
Got give credit for the fx, and the spooky moment that the film offer. i mean the classroom ash scene, wow that was neat, and the way James give that claw sound when he coming. Really gave the fright, but they should have really experimenting more on the killing and been more creative. Cause on Friday they really did their homework right, here they just saw the first, and that's it. come on platinum, be justified with yer remakes.
Well the film is worth seen it, for some entertainment, but not for a gory film(cause really their ain't that much). James made a character for this one. But i dont think they be making one soon.
But hey like i said i sleep like Hugh Hefner, with some playboy bunny around me.

They didnt release a kraken, but me.

The Harryhausen was instant classic, thank to he's art of stop motion. From how a Pegasus fly, to the way a Medusa move, to the kraken ride from the water. Now a remake is made, that really is nothing new to the story, same old Greek story.
But how much did they change and is it worth for 3d?
So here's the story Perseus( Sam Worthington) wasn't some payback from hades(Ralph Fiennes) From killing he's family. Knowing that humanity is rebelling agaisnt the gods, Zeus(Liam Neeson) is putting the smack down. From destroying some city, by releasing the kraken. Now is up to Perseus(knowing he's half god) to travel to the furthers of the world, and find a way to defeat it. With a band of warrior, they must face from giant scorpion, to facing a Medusa, that will stone them. Is the finest hour, and knowing this our hero must face.
OK there really no act on this film, cause all we heard is machismo and thensome. Sam really doesnt give nothing, i prefer him on the terminator, and avatar. But really he need more work for the action department. Liam and Fiennes as always well respect actors, they know their line. And playing as gods is something that this film have. So respect to that.
Now the original Perseus fall in love for Andromeda, for just answering the riddle she always give. On this one they head to a different direction that seem to me lost. I mean for a ageless women, that show him how to fight a Medusa, just wrong. And then there's the question on why hades have to be the main bad guy, on every modern Greek myth film. Really people there other, have anyone play the god of war trilogy. And they don give screen time to Pegasus. The film work out more like adventure story, but more of a short version.
The effect are quite good, especially when it came to the rise of the kraken, from he's tentacle destroying the city to when he scream, some impressive detail. The scorpion really when all NFL to our Heroes. That really gave that extra push of action of the film, gave the meaning on how to make a Greek myth film. Let not forget the Victoria model Medusa, that really pull it off on her slithering way of moving, put some tension to the film.
Now what did i thought about the tradition to 3d? They were eating some mushroom for making the dumb mes decision of all time. I felt from the beginning of the film it wasn't necessary, until the second and the third part. But really nothing come at you. Comparing this film with avatar, i say they really gave it that much thought. Look there some film that is gonna be made intentionally for 3d and other not, cause i dint jump of my seat(well except by going to the bathroom).
So keep the 3d for this one, and see it in 2d instead. And yes there till 3 to go for the big 100.

They say sarcasm doesnt take ya nowhere, well it work for this film

Marvel is on a roll, since the first one came out. Forming their own studio, they already had plan on making more than 3 movies. And expectation are high. Now the sequel of the one that started it all, come with the same cast, but new villain, and a new face that been Don Cheadle taking the roll that Terrence Howard play.

Does it work, is it better than the first, or is another sequel that deserve to be in thrash:

Tony Stark(Robert Downey) is in lot heat since he gave the announcement that he really is the Iron Man. Now the U.S. government want to confiscated it, Pepper Potts(Gwyneth Patrol) is promoted as CEO, and he body is suffering from the effect of the Arc light. But when he is attack by Ivan Vanko(Mickey Rourke) it come for some attention from part of the competitor and he's founder Justin Hammer(Sam Rockwell) and Hammer industry. But thing gets worst when Tony drinking get to the worst, that not even James(Don Cheadle) can help them. That it need of Nick Fury(Sam Jackson to intervene. And get him straight. But mean while Ivan is already working with James, for making he's new set of toys. Will Tony find someone a way to get back on the suit? Or he's legacy will end, that he will jeopardize everything he build?

Acting from Robert as alway sensational, every line that this guy said. Is gold from the start. It was great to seen more acting time for Gwyneth that i think, she gave her best Mommy performance ever. Hey at least she didnt spend it screaming all the way. Sam Rockwell is great addition from the start, he was not to evil, but it work, for a businessman tycoon. Scarlett Johanson, was very little, but her action sequences, sold it.Mickey rourke, really got that Russian edge, cause bringing a bad ass, tattoo russian Physics gave something to think, to keep him making more evil roles. Now the main question go how well Don Cheadle did? Well Actually it was good, not fun. But good, respect this guy started out as a comedian, now he's in drama. But Garry Shandling and Jon Favreau took the fun moment of the film. Cause that senator role is the best he have done since he's show.

Now the story, what made the first such a hit, what the performance(but more the dialogue). The rhythm that the film had. Was long and short when it came to the action sequences. From the downfall of Tony, to the fixing of Hammer drone, the film lack off on the action. Now i m not saying the is a total bust, but the acting is what saved it lot. I think the relationship that Robert had with Gwyneth made it fell like a episode of friend. It was thoughtful, and funny. The dialogue of the 2nd act it was saved it. With so much sarcasm, there is really no reason to leave, not even for a bathroom break. The effect are till there, like always, something that came out from a star trek next generation episode.

Now there were little action from the fight of the race car, to the final duel with Ivan, they were short, and needed more time, including some more action from the war machine. It was something that was missing from the film, i know the acting of robert always save it. But come on this is based on a comic, and it got it action. So beside giving the explosion and the neat effect, the suspense for the action was just missing.

So bottomless, the film is great, the story is fantastic, but needed that extra battery, to make it as a popcorn film. So is worth to see and laugh, and be thrill(if it mean it was little). So enjoy it, cause stay during the credit, cause what next (spoiler alert) it only come from Asgard.

till to the 100: God nothing to say about this.

religion in film have been a hot calamity. Since Mel Gibson made the Passion.
Since then everything that is base on, turn out into controversy. If you want something like that, then lets star with Paul Bettany wingful action flick, Legion.
And Guest what, ain't that holy but Fruity(not to offend the gays).
Here's my Antichrist of a review:

So the whole thing star with god, not so happy how humanity, have turn out. So to bring the apocalypse, he sent angels, do it. That's where one angel defied him Michael(Paul Bettany). Landing on earth, he cut he wing, saw them, then arm him, and go to a deserted diner place, in the middle of nowhere. Meeting a 8 month pregnant waitress Charlie(Adrianne Palicki), The not so boyfriend of a mechanic Jeep(Lucas Blacki), the handicap cook Percy(Charle S. Dutton), the lost man Kyle(Tyrese Gibson), The TV bashing owner of paradise falls Bob, and last the stranded family Howard(Ron Tenney, Audrey(Willa Holland), And the mother Sandra(Kate Walsh). When their situation is change when swap of fly head their way, and Michael warning them, of what is to come. So now is a stand still a la Alamo. Armed and ready for anything, for the sake of Charlie baby. Knowing they have to face all type of angels, and discover who the weakest of them all. It will take more than courage to face this army, but fate in one self.

OK some of the acting weren't that exciting to begin with. I mean Lucas black ain't the star of the moment, but he really lost me here. Dennis really should star working for TV. or something else. Tyrese can really let go of the stereotype role that is always giving to him. And really i wont say anything of the other actors, cause really there's nothing good, to talk about. Some of their back story are so cliche, and they till end dead. Paul Bettany is a respected actor, cause common every British guy is, but this role really made him look soft, and just pitiful.

Now the story dont make any sense, i mean why in god green house he wanted he next son dead? Can anybody answer me that. Most of film that take some element from the bible to make it feel good, case in point the Matrix. But here we get just a angel with a machine gun killing innocent civilian, that are posses. Another thing that i dont get. Ain't that from the devil. And really there ain't any archangel battle. The story feel pointless, from the beginning to time they kill Michael, to the awesome car sequences. The film dont follow any religion morals.

But is not all bad i mean the final clash between Michael and Gabriel, those iron wings really pay off. Cause really the only angel that i know that have them is character from the Marvel X-men.
But the film turn out as Alamo stand, that really was good, but get tired. The husband exploding some acid was something brutal, kind of think of it, is the only brutal thing they got. But really they didn't play their card right on the kid that wanted to kill Michael. I mean really guys, ye got put that in. That i felt kind disturb seen it. I mean if you wanna see it done right, then rent yourself the children instead.

So the mix of fate and action, really dont work on the film. Angel action have, but really they should have gonna we something else. Religion film are made to give us a point of view of any type. But this really didn't, Rambo would rather be Jewish after watching it.

I m not trying to be mean here, but really i want my money back, and go out and rent Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter instead.

Road to 100: the best vampfilm so far.

thank to the twilight phenomenon, everything thing that having a vampire, mean is gonna make some cash. Thank to the fangirl craze(dreaming with a chance on doing it with Pattison). Anyway, mostly all of it, have made to tv series, the only thing that is a movie, with vamp. Is January premier Daybreakers, beside going with the whining, and gay fantasy, turning it into something futuristic and action park. That actually work? Here the review:
in the future, humanity suffer a epidemic, in which it was turn into vampires. Giving birth to a whole new race of immortality, free of every disease, and only living with the feed of blood. Now 9 year pass, and their reserve are running out, which desperation for blood, start to cause panic in the street. Turning them from regular vamp, to more freakish wing one. Now is up to blood researcher Edward Dalton(Ethan Hawke) to find a replacement, and stop this craze. So by now is hunting what is left of humanity, and get the blood necessary. Until the good doctor happen to meet a group of human, lead by Audrey(Claudia Karvan). That take him to meet the one person that can cure the vamp hunger, so humanity can survive can survive. Calling him the Elvis(Willem Defoe) . So will Ed find a solution to the vampire hunger? or will
Charles Bromley(Sam Neil) have other plans for the company that harvest the blood?
Well i must say the role of Ethan Hawke was good, than average nothing new to offer. But with that innocent look that he always have since , explorers. He will always be the good guy. Defoe gives he best John Wayne impersonation(well that how i see it) tat really doesn't fit. I respect this actor, and all he's film credentials, but here just give him the guitar and he be ready. Sam Neil the same, great actor, always doing he's devilish take, that always works. Only this time he's playing a vampire businessman. That's surely fit.
The movie star well, with the girl burning. Giving the side effect of what is been immortality is about? That later focus on the city, that really dont say. But the focus of the story of the blood reserve running out was something, new. The whole environment, from the subway, do the low lights of every house, to how they harvest the human. All was great, especially the harvesting, that really disturb me. The action is something good that directors Spierig know to do. From the first chance sequences when they are sliding to the rail of the bridge to the ambush of night, but their drama is fine too. I mean the scene that Neil want her daughter to be turn. There's another thing that confuse me, ain't she suppose to be ashes? Well anyway the suspend is rare, cause their ain't that much Cg to the whole film. Except from the burning scene.
The brothers Spierig made to the scene with their zombie film Undead. Now their take to the vampire, work, i mean the acting is average, but the whole plot that is all about is what sold it. The Aussie knew, only to make car film, and something. But doing something else really fit. I m starting to look forward what else can this brother do. Cause their wave of making films, could star a new style of grind house film.

road to 100: feel like scorsese doing a remake of the prisoner.

For common director, doing horror or suspense, are always fit, by their top peers. Hitchcock, or even Argento. Now Scorsese bring us, he way on doing it. And coming from the ride, is the golden boy, Leonardo Dicaprio. Does he do it well, or is another Bringing out the dead:

Two U.S Marshall Teddy Daniels(Leonarnado Dicaprio), and Chuck Aule(Mark Ruffalo), are sent to the Mental Institute Facility, in Shutter Island. Where the worst of criminal of insane are put. Investigating the disappearance one of the patient that go by the name of Rachel(Emily Blunt). With the hospitality of the Dr. Cawley(Ben Kingleys) showing everything they need. Tedd try to discover the many secrets that the island have. But is he gonna find it or will he become one of the patient.

Iknow i till dont have my visa yet, so is late for me to review, but hey they premier last friday, here. So the acting of Dicabrio, is something that i dont believe. I mean the tone of voice that he used. Really doesn't fit to him. I mean he trying to do he's best Bogart Impersonation. That he better off doing something modern, like in the departed. Kingley really ain't bad, as gentle, and common sense. The man can pull it off as a shrink. I mean give this guy a pipe, and he go all Sigmund fraud on ya. Mark Ruffalo still making a name, with he's new york acting, the guy make ya believe that he's the real deal. And finally Jackie Earle, can till make the best creepy appearances since the creep keeper.

I can say much of the story, so i doing a spoiler moment, it feel as the sense of Ficher The game, to Deeps Rear Window. I mean the period that it take place, real felt that thriller, that were made in the 1950's. But to they have to borrow every cliched of suspense do it. I mean the Mechanism is one prime example, that really give ya the clues on the happening. But here it feel the same. The lighthouse, where they do their Manchurian experiment, or the many places they have their patient, that part gotta come from the Video Game Batman:Arkham Asylum. And the patients they all dont look that scary, except from the staple guy, that confuse me. From Deniro, that exact is Elias Koteas. They took fright moment, but dont work. And the flashback does work in most moment, from telling the backgroung of Teddy, from he's time in war, to he's allusionation over he's wife, play by Michelle Williams. And there were times that the camera, felt tire ding in times, like in the fire in the cave, the flame not nice way on shooting it. Is something that is made in 3D.

Scorsese made something , that's is already made, but gave it he's own twist. The environment is gonna get ya. But most of the story, well is done. I respect this man, but really he best doing something else, then doing something that gonna surprise ya by the end.

I recommend ye best till stay with Alice for this one.

Road to 100 continue: pencilpusher

Definition:When somebody pushes the pencil, from drawing to moving it, giving it motion.
In other words animation. February was month for animation(direct to dvd i mean). That two are based on video games, there other from comics, and the last a nickelodeon. Now knowing that some of the major website of enetertainment already did their bit from reviewing it. From the special features, to the quality of format, sound, voice acting, and of course the story. that's where i focus the most. Why? cause that's all i can do. Hey i mexican, that love cartoon, and understand the english. Yes i speak it too. So either yer ñoño(fanboy) or a gamer, or some guy that got no time tobuy a cup of corn(i love that).

Heres the 5 DVD animation that cameout:

5.-The penguins dvd premier
The penguins of madagascar have been hit on nick, that have been bringing kids from ages 5-10. Enjoying their many silly adventures. Theres a reason they made their own dvd adventure in which non other dbag actor extraordiner Neil Patrick Harris makes he's voice acting, to the evil dolphin Dr blowhole, that really is that fun, with a launght that would make Tv favorite nanny(not the british ones) franne dresher marry again. The story and the characters are fun, and unenexpected. Cause really they have giant lobster with a giant iron claw. And of course it couldn't be funnier without Julie. Is good old fashion lobster beating, that red lobster aint getting their order. Just cause i love the character, plus neil Patrick Harris give the best villain laught of all time, deserve to be in 5.
4.-Dante Inferno
Consider by gamers a rip off of god of war, the animated epic is quite good. With manny dismembement, and nudetity ye can handle. The film was for promotion only, like it did with the dead space . But here 6 anime studio did it. that really make is a must see for anybody that's love animation. the only flaw that it have is the continuaty, with so many variation of Dante, it make ya think that he suffering from bulimia. My favorite style go to heresy, very classical, with some very vibrant color.the story is the same of the game but diferent, and short. But till entertaint, if ye ever wonder that theres a disturbing anime film, then let this one show ya the 9 layer of hell.
3.- Halo Legends
first anounce in last year San Diego Comic Con. And premier only on Xbox 360.
The series of short make this franchise more bigger and interesting. telling the story on how it started in origin, and going with the water color paint come alive in the duel, and adding the hype og action with prototype, and the cell shadedcg cartoon The packadges. My fav goes to casio, from bringing a space mocap action adventure. The dvd promote the impact of what the halo universe is all about, and telling it with diferent style of anime. That 's worth seen it, and explore the world.
2.-Justice League:Crisis of two earth.
I have been a fan of the Dc dvd movie. But when i saw Wonder woman, the maturity of style, i was sold. So base on a story written by Grant Morrison. A parallel Lex Luthor come to the justice league for their help. On taking down their evil counter part call as the Crime Syndicate.
The action is good, and copy, like batman fighting in he robot suit, something already seen in Camerons Aliens, But the best go to the Batman and owl man fight. And tree cheer to the voice acting work that james wood and Gina Terra did. on bringing the evil sound to their character. But the bronkly act of ultraman, is something to hear on jersey shore, if ya not pushing anyone. Anywho the animation is perfect, thank to the talent of the korean cartoon company. and of course going with the final crisis version of the martian. I betting that the under the Red Hood, is gonna be the best of the collection.

1.-Planet Hulk

I really dont know what excited me, theappearances on some of marvel cosmic heros, or the well adapted story. Marvel have been battling hard on making one their film worthy to watch, from Iron Man to Next Avenger. But they hit it with Hulk vs. Now they are doing it with planet, base on the maxi tale of comic writer Greg Land. Hulk is exile from earth and land on alien planet sakar(i think that what is call) where he is capture as a slave, and take part as a gladiator for the pure entertaintment of the Red King. I know it sound more like that other ridley scott film. But if ya ñoño like me.This one will wet ya, on the sight of seen, lame space character of the cosmic marvel universe. making their cartoon debut. But the hardcore of the story go, on how bad ass the hulk really is. from the part that he grab the red king from he next, to the fighting sequences with Beta Ray Bill. This film is a must to any collector. That prove that marvel knows where to go now. Bring the Avenger Disamble next.

hey the road to 100 star here:

The last time i heard of a story of Alice in wonderland, was in the matrix, using it as a metaphor, it gave some brilliant to the way a story could be told. Lewis Carroll brought something that only a drunk, and stonier could ever make. Alice in wonderland is a fairy tale like any other, with a wondrous environment, to very strange, and unique cast of character. Everybody knew that Tim Burton, would make it into a film. Well thank to Disney, he did, but is it a wonder, or it deserve to get it head cut off:
Alice(Mia Wasikowska) is young and bright little lady, that grown up they tell her what todo, but went she go to her secret engagement party, she run off chasing the white rabbit. By going to the rabbit whole, she fall to a world, where flower can talk, where there's a hare(Paul Whitehouse) and a hatter(Johny Deep) are drinking tee, a Cheshire Cat(Stephen Fry) play with you, and is rule by two queens, the white one(Anne Hathaway) and a red one(Helena Bonham Carter). Now she must decide to free this kingdom, by facing something that she doesn't wanna do.
Bright and colorful it come to the world of wonderland.
I think i m gonna give Mia a break, cause really her acting wasn't that bad, it was the same doubtful girl story, but change till end. Johny Deep been dress like combination of a Ronald McDonald and Duck tales very own Scrooge, doing the same with he's performances with a mix of willy wonka, and putting some jack sparrow. I was expecting something looney, cause in the original story he is mad, and he laughs at anything, but here there's some drama, that really dont go so well. I mean he is call the mad hatter for a reason. But the one that had the best act go to the big head of a queen of Helena, playing a imitation, off Oliver stone directing Barbara Streisand. With her squick line, and her famous line. She really brought the fun, Anne acting was adorable, and innocent, like somebody that dedicated her whole life playing candyland. Rickman voice work came well, playing a very Yoda style.
Now i havent read the original story, but they mix it with the Alice and Wonderland, with looking through looking glass, that feel more as a sequel. That's where it fail, i mean they try to make it more as adventure story, but didn't come close. when it came to the sword i was expecting something like sword and the stone. Thank god they didn't. Most of the character were to fast to notice, and something felt like rehash from another Disney film(Narnia anybody). Mixing both story felt wrong, especially when it came not introducing any off the characters, it have gonna better if they have extended the story, with her falling, and knowing wonderland then later been chased by the red queen, cause by then, she make her stand against the jabberwocky monster or thing. Complaining this, made me realize they stood with the true language that the Lewis Carroll made, hell i was surprise when Deep spoke of the infamous poem of the Jabberwocky. Of course i like the last battle sequence, when it take place in a chess battle arena, that come faithful to the sequel. But they had me with the romance that lice was having with the hatter.
The visual are the best thing the film have. From the obvious tween brother, to the fur that cheshire cat had, to even the wonder of both castle. That rarely were inspire by the same magic castle of the amusement park. The design they did to the jabberwocky was faithful to the book. Even to the red queen guards, in the form of cards. The 3D format did work for the film from where Alice is falling to the scale of the fight. Tim Burton could have least used some draft, from the team, that made the classic video game, McGee's Alice.
Tim Burton is always know how to bring something strange and dark, but for Alice, he gave the brighter. Which ain't bad, but fall a little. The story felt short in most of the time, and the character need more introduction. But the visual are the true piece, for making it work.
There have been many version of this story, from the famous Disney cartoon, to the barrage of TV version, and comic too. And the best till go to McGee version. Tim Burton made some great, but he last one weren't that surprising, for me producing 9 was a great choice for him, But Alice he needed to bring something that would made anybody blush. So is best that i thank, to comics, cause i m staying with zenescope version, from return, to beyond, and escape.
Hey read this, cause there left 9 reviews, for the land mark of one hundred.
so to celebrate, i gonna star reviewing the whole animated movies from February. That's right from planet hulk, to halo legend, hell let even put the penguins.
And on 17 check my comparing some mexican torta delight today bisexual star.
is gonna be fun, guarante.
so remember Im joe Asylo, and yes im mexican. that can.

Wow this one claw it way to my heart.

It seem the Lycan or the way they are know werewolf, have always been the supporting roles, from the Underworld series, to the new twilight. But now universal is making it revision of it. Remaking one of their classic monster, But could this one do justice, thank to Benicio del Toro. or really need that silver bullet?

It all started when Lawrence Talbot(Benicio del Toro) come home, to find who or what kill he's brother. Where at home he is well receive by he's father(Anthony Hopkins) and the widow of he's brother Gwen(Emely Blunt). Hearing rumors, that it was a beast, with claws size of a apple, that how to the moon, sprawling in the country side. He is go out to investigated, by the moment he reach a Gypsy camp. Body parts star to fly, ending it with him receiving a bite. Soon a inspector(Hugo Weaving) comes to investigate, While he's start to notice different thing, from hearing from long distance, to smelling all around him. Until he star to turn the beast from withing. Revealing something that started with dear all father. Will he break the curse before full moon, or will the love of Gwen will over commit?

Benicio, really star great with the film, very good guy type, something i havent seen since traffic. What can i say about Anthony, he's performances can always go well with every picture he make. Emely really star well, but sadly ended in what i hate, the girl that wont let go. Hugo Weaving, should really star making some serious pictures cause the man got talent till.

The story i wasn't expect much, knowing that it was so predictable. Everybody already notice from the eye of the father, spoiler alert. He was the first to be bitten. The film Doesn'T deliver anything new, just your same family secret, that work in the time where is taking. I mean they really went with all theory they have on the myth of the Wolfman. That there's no time from where the film fall. From the chase sequences of london, the suspense grip ya. The film is not so violent it, but slashing in a way works. The film is not making a slashing film. But something more gruesome, in the killing. I mean my favorite of them al is the falling of the shrink to the gates.

The transformation isn't anything new just, some homegrown cg, classic transformations. Nothing different, you cannot even compare to the John Landis Werewolf in London, that was something revolutionary in the effect department. I dig the eye popping ones, to the hand to, that really play homage to the film. But till classic cg magic.

The film works more as a entertainment, than anything else, yes is gory and slashy, but dont expect to see too much blood. At least they didn't went all pg-13. Thank you.

To fast for been greek.

I m very fond to the greek mythology, from the type of gods, to their creatures. Now knowing that this year is gonna full of it, from the remake of clash of the titan, to the release of everyone favorite ghost of spartan, GOW 3. It seem everything is coming a long, except when i heard of this film. Bringing the Greek to the modern times. Does it work, or get send to the underworld? Here's the review:
Zeus(Sean Bean) lightning was stolen, and all finger are pointing to poseidon son, Percy(Logan Lerman), leaving him 14 days, after the gods declare all wars, among them self. So now Percy was prove he's innocent, by retrieving it, and rescuing her mother(Catherine Keener) from the clutches of hades himself, who want the lightning. Coming along he's best friend/bodyguard Grove(Brandon T. Jackson), and the bravest lady of all the film Athena daughter Annabeth(Alexandra Daddario). Traveling from tennessee to las Vegas, to stop the war that could end the world.
Well i cant say much of the acting, cause really this is something that Nickelodeon could do for a Saturday night movie event. Logan performances, is that of Zach Efren adventures attitude that is missing from him. Alexandra, really was the very interesting character of it all, cause the way she is warrior, than a daughter of aphrodite. And Jackson goat boy act, really was the annoying part of the film, knowing if you watch close, he really cut it as one. The other star, cant say much they were short, and just missing in action, from Medusa face Uma Thurman, to half horse butt Pierce Brosnan. I think Rosario Dawson have the much time than all them.
I know it sounded gruel, but lets get to the story, i think it was kind good the story had that same myth adventure, that is know off. But i felt that some of those idea were borrow. Example the Medusa decapitation, is something they took from the clash, and the stone traveling, that definitely a Harry Potter trick.Plus there's more, when they take him to he's tent, it really felt even more Harry Pottery. the story doesnt give so much character development, cause in half-blood camp all they show, is how bad asses(pardon the words). so soon. They should have a least giving a half hour on the reason of who they are. I did like Percy Problems from he dyslexia, to he's deficit, cause in true is something that i can relate. And the relationship that the gods have with their son, is also that really make it very modern.
That really bring that humane sense, the character needed. The action sequences, were neat, from the great Hydra battle, to the Percy fight against Luke. The effect went all to turn it into a epic. But not so much.
Knowing the film was made by the same man that brought the Harry Potter film(two of them). Kind took a slow move for this one. he didn't ruin it, cause there's some element that really follow the Greek myth. But it felt well out a place, for just being just another franchise to be made.
Fox have been struggling to turn a fantasy story, into a franchise. but failing it with . From Eragon, Seeker, and now they re taking huge risk on bridging the Narnia series back. Look i like their take on the whole Greek mythology, but they have to learn the only time that one tale was turn into kiddie like goes to Disney Hercules. And to be honest, it was good. So i bet there's a follow up coming(or not).

awesome fight, for a wasted story.

yeah i know this film came out November, but remember my visa expired last august(stupid immigration system). Well it seem the famous producer(or something) Joel Silver, took the step to make a ninja film, with the cooperation of the guys that made the matrix. Went i heard this i got excited, from watching the trailer, to some killer scene. Seen it, what to i think of. I'm grabbing my katana i think i m slashing myself for this review:

The story is about a boy name Raizo(Rain), who was kidnap, and train to become a ninja, learning every techni until he's body stand it. On the night of the first killing, he was offer again to kill someone that have betray the clan, a girl. that refuse, and cut he's master instead. Now a young Euro pol agent by the name of mika(Naomie Harris) is on the case to find, and arrest this clan the problem is, she next on the their list. With star throwing sword slashing, and them some. Raizo come to her aid. Now is up to him to keep her alive ? With all the cuts, stabbing, and blood(cg type) will they make it until the end?

Well the acting is the same as average, the one that i really found it annoy is Naomi, man can that lady scream. If she were on horror flick, it suit her. But here, well lets just say cliche moment. Pop star sensation(of Korea i mean) Play it, now don't get offensive with it, the same stereotype silent samurai that every sword fighting movie have. I mean he's all dark, and ready for anything. But really is something that 's getting to much attention for a Asian star. I mean Rick Yune had something to say, with that evil voice, that really brought the cynical of he's character.

Now the story is written by one of my favorite J. Michael Straczynski, that he also wrote the Clint Eastwood The changeling, which was good. Well the story is splitting in two, the origin of Raizo training, to the rescue of Mika. I think the twist that follow, really devastated it. Reminding me on why Elektra didn't work. I mean the star is great, but it make ya wait like i don't know 30 minute for the action to star, but hey the flashback entertain(for a little). Until the film head to a more Luc Benson stage, where the true fireworks come. But hey is not all and bad.

I think the very heart of this film come with the fights. With the flash light scene, during the mika apartment scene, is karate shadow boxing. That i really dug. Also the chase sequence on the freeway, holy those were some hit that made me jump for joy, cause there's nothing then dashing them cars. And of course the very ending ones, from the brother scene, to the master, those were the pearls of the movies, that made me believe. But i like most te master one why, cause really they went all anime with it. from the flashing move, to the fast track decapitation. Something that only playing ninja gaiden could be seen. The only downside of it , goes to those cg blood. There's lot of it, in this film, but hey Hollywood made it, so why not. They should have went with the old school, not make believe

So there you have it, the film to accomplish somethings, but fail to tell a tale of revenge. But it wasn't supposed to be t big of deal of a film, i guest they just went with it, cause many people love em ninjas. But i prefer playing one, from the ninja gaiden, to everything that neo geo made of them. So hey there.

Really Seth made a sequel? Is funny, than he's acting career.

In 2007 Seth Mcfarlane, made he own parody of Star wars: anew hope . Calling it the blue harvest, starring the family guy character, that made him so much richer. That a sequel needed to be made, so is the same story only this time is the take of empire strike back, with more gags, more filth, and yes that mcfarlane touch that all of us love, just this once i wanna see a mexican joke. Chicken robot did it. Ha take that.

Anywho is not worth my time to give a review so is best i give my top 10 best moment of the film, knowing that last only hour, and not two. See America that how Seth is richer, he shorten them, from become like me, a cheap bastard.
here's my tops:

10.-Peters robot chicken saying.
By the end of the film we see peter, till trying to pit off seth green.
of course this one was better, but although he really push when he try to tell
without a paddle. my god green what was that.
9.-What the hell with chewie?
I get the perversion that Brian have. But really did ya went over the top with the hug part. i mean Herbert was the only creepy guy that the show had. But ain't Brian the brains, and he's Lando remarks, holy white tail liking.
8.-Giant Chicken as Bobba Fett.
genius just genius, hoping if they make the third we see them fighting in tatooine.
7.-Choking someone nutsucks.
Wow Vader choking something else, man i mean Elton john could do it.
But i mean, wow but a black guy.
6.-R2-D2 intercourse.
well it was something unexpected, but it works. I mean he's black, they say is long for them.
But running with it, oh yeah, i going gay here.
5.-Giant boob nipple gun.
Finally someone have name it, cause it really look one. So star wars fan, that mean George Lucas have gone to a strip club, for inspiration.
4.-Imperial walker skinned knee
Yeah we have seen it in some family guy episodes, but it works went a walker does it.
3.-Star wars intro
By far the best into ever, in this franchise. I mean how they till complaining for being cancel, and how the are till rubbing it to fox, on how they lost this one franchise, that could have made them the really king of all USA. So Rupert is till...... say it at the end.
2.-Vader vs. Consuela
You never argue to a Mexican maid, cause they right, white people cant clean.
From the vacuum, to the Windex, Vader couldn't beat her. So what do you do?
keep arguing.
1.-Han solo Carbonite
The best gag, taken yer pants while been carbonite. Something the guys of south park of drawn together, could never make. And only Peter made it possible given it the best joke moment of all animated pictures(that go straight to DVD i mean).
So there you have it, i mean there's more. But I'm lazy bastard, i bet someone could do it better.
So to Seth the magnificent rich bastard that he is, brought something that no Star wars fan could do, turn it into a comedy. Plus showing us that black Jewish guy people exist.
And that's why Rupert Murdock is till kissing he's @$$.

The hughes Bro. when all faith, with out the gore.

It seem lately post apocaliptic film have been making a wave lately.
From the beginning of the end of 2012, to vigo taking he's son to a safer place in the road, and angels trying to stop the second coming. Yes we all know that those film offer something, special effect, and drama(and i mean the road). But now the Hughes brother, makers of the gangster life of menace 2 society and dead president, make their own version, but what changes have, cause really it doesnt have any effect or drama, just a trip?
heres my faithful review:
Eli(Denzel Washiton) is a man with a mission, walking in the desolate, desert like, torch earth, that little of humanity have survive, facing marauders, and carnivals all time. While resting abandon houses, just eating, hearing music, and reading a book. But when he arrive town run by the rules Book collector, that have control of the water Carnegie(Gary Oldman), he take a interest to he talents, he try to recruit him. But when he discover the special book, leaving would be possible, if you have your fate. West is where Eli destiny is, and with Solare(Mina Kunis) at he side, there's nothing that stand in there way. Except Carnegie goons.
Denzel role goes all preacher here from saying a prayer in diner time, to really going all cowboy.
The character wasn't bad, but mysterious, by the step of the way you know so little not on he's character, but the world. Gary Oldman is a performance that i miss a long time, from playing the main bad guy of the film, something that the guys, taking notices the guys making the next James bond film, he's your guy. And Milas Kunis really felt the same cliche of the damsel in distress, twice, until she get some action time, that was just little.
Now on the story, now i have heard so manny story from books and comics, and some films, about delivering something. But the whole Christianity that the film have, really is off to me. I mean here's a guy who taking this book that somehow(spoiler alert) started a war, so they went all nazi and burn it. that next came a whole in the sky that torch the whole world. Pretty weird right.Well know it seem to me something that came straight out of the quest for fire. Yeah just without the caveman, i cant say no more cause those guys are trademark for Geiko. But anyway I think it would it been better, if Eli was actually was doing some right, knowing that he have so much faith in him. And really sold the show.
But the fight scene are one the best by far, it seem The combination, of some street fighting and some children of men shot brought, what i call a real time action. From the bar fight to the old couple stand off. It seem the Hughes brother wanna star making some action.
Now the style felt more of combine of the road meet the road warrior cause of the desert scenery, but come on they at least should have given some destruct city to go with.
Well to end, the film feel something that christian folk would love to see, but those that know the Hughes film, they should have added something new, cause really McDowell in a Einstein look, really scare the kids. So Yeah is a good film to just entertain, but it didn't brought down avatar.
Hey stay tune for more of my reviews i m heading to my 100's and less make fun on the bisexuality of today actress. By eating some tortas, a mexican delight.
later.
