I don't get the beef that many people had, for the two films. They expected claws and fang to crash one and other, what they get action made right. And till the goth blame that is wrong, well it got Gothic scenery, black leather, and more a war so unique that have been seen once, on a episode of the real ghostbuster cartoon. Well guess what this time they went with a prequel, that tell the story how it began:

A war began between Vampire and full breed lycan( once transform it loose all human self) it took two decade to ended. By that time one peculiar birth introduce to the hybrid, half lycan and half human, in which Viktor(Bill Nighy)overlord of the covenant, took him in and name him Lucian(Michael Sheen). a new race of lycan was born, only turning them to slave. Working in mine digging, hammering, and whipping to get the job done. By what he didn't know that hes only daughter Sonia(Rhona Mitra) was having a affair with a lycan. But that time the counsel was preparing to name lucian the new general for their new army of hybrid that will defend them in the daylight. But when the true is reveal of the forbidding love. Sonia pay the price of treason, is death by light. Declaring vengeance with war, now the full breed and the hybrid, join to take down once and for all Viktor and he's convenant. This is how the Underworld began.

Nighy is already making a name for himself, with a super acting. If they were ever making a modern tale of Dracula , he would be playing it. Rhona, love her in Doomsday, but as a vamp she make it see sexy. There's no wonder there haven been any successor for Kate, on this film, well she fits it. Martin part, as the rebel wolf, was average, i mean is just your average spartacus, rising against he's oppressor, something that already seen.

The story play out in very kingdom of heaven way, with just protecting the castle, it does follow the continuum of the universe, but the love beet ween lucian and Sonia, gave it more drama, that really work. Not many film are well when it come to war and love like pearl Harbor. But this one with the medieval setting, prove that it can.

The scenario they have from the castle, to the mine field they very well have work on the lord of the ring trilogy, they didn't went Gothic, but more of a English type. The effect are the super than the previous ones, from the transformation to the final battle, that kind it fell like the return of the king when Aragon comes to save the day with he's ghostly friends.

The brutality that film have is little, except when it come to the escape, i mean getting shot by a spear in a mouth, ye better go to India to do that. There's some slash and dash, but when it come to the lycan rip, yeah there's blood in that. The fighting are good, not the best, but stylish. The gore factor is low, but the action is high.

Is great to see Len Wiseman till on the project, knowing he didn't directed. But Patrict(the new director) really did well, with powerful acting from part of Nighy, and a very seductress sex scene, the film rule, and who knew that he was till working on the effect apartment(knowing that where he came from).

The franchise is strong on this one. so if the goth kids are till complaining, then they better go to the gap store, and buy new clothes. Cause really the story is great, and the drama good. With rumor that Kate wont representing her role as Selina, is possible they could be heading to a new direction, and well lest be honest she have been the greatest heroine of any movie.
So with love and gore, the underworld 3 is the best of all. a DVD must(well for me).

bad of a film, but the 3d save it.

The last 3D film that i saw, was beowulf, and i got into the thing, from the bashing of the monster to the flying suspense that was the dragon, and of the course the many battles. Is a technology that is started to resurface again, now lately last year wasn't that great, cause one the journey was over flap, then bolt needed more thing jumping on the screen. Now is the horror to test out, does the blood split over it, does the pickaxed hit ya, but more importantly is it scary with the 3D. Here the review:

in the town of Harmoni, tragedy hit when a mine collapse, trapping 4, when they dug them out, death became of them, leaving one alive. Moment late rs they discover they were murder by a pick axe, done by the only survivor Henry, who was in a coma. Until he woke up and started he's rampage of murder, from the hospital to the miner's wheres local teens were celebrating until the man of the gas mask came to reclaim was he's. Shot by the sheriff, Henry was proclaim death. Now ten years have passed where the local news till remember what happen on that day. Tom Hanninger(Jensen Ackles) have come home, and start something, that most of the town people hate him for it, that its selling the mine's, but when he reunited with her former once girlfriend Sara(Jamie King) who is now marry with the local sheriff Axel(Kerr Smith), the drama star. But when the killing start, over again. Only this time the people that control the mine are the new targets, including those who survive it. Well lets just put it like this, he just reap your hearts, and put it on heart box with a chocolate on it. So he can be your own.

OK, the story play out something that came out from the drive through, there's no real acting, i mean if ye love Jensen act on supernatural, than here he really ain't nothing more then supposed silent hero. And the love triangle that he have with Jamie and Kerr is something they just add. to give some drama. In the original it define the slasher genre, by making the most unique killing in any movie, and the origin of the killer is well done. Which on this new one doesn't.

What real make this great is the killing in 3D, from a eye popping over, to the first person view, where the killer throw ya the weapon. The film will start a new trend, in the horror genre. With just wearing this

Yeah i know it look like a alien with weed, any who the film goes well when the splatter come out the screen, i got the say the selling point are when pieces goes flying through you, the tech works well in a horror films. But lets not carry way here, cause remember it is a remake. My only complain go to the pointing of the gun at you. Is like giving it to a 5year old. My favorite part how to be said by someone call Al Bundy "lets see some 3D hooters". Yeah.

You can complain much of the film except, they reused the same scare over and over. The best way they did justice is when it come to the location that look good, like something that national geographic. Could make in later years. 3D is here to stay, it depend on how is used, but like i said before, so i wont repeat it. But i enjoy it.

So the slasher genre is been made all over, thank to the horrible remakes, but this one is something to see, for 2dllrs more is a good investment. But make sure that your local theater have it in 3d. so is more fun that way. Cause really this one is the only scare and fun that you can experiences. i was urging for some hardcore gore, and boy did i score

Crisis, crisis, that's what everybody is talking about. Without noticing that Horrorfest is here, and with 8 films to die ahhh ye know it. The third annual of this festival(o so). Release by the studio that cant make it mind, when to release their films LionGates. They travel the country and the world, to bring to what for them are the scariest movies.

Well is time for me to judge them, Now i wanna make one thing clear i only saw 3 of them, why "I ain't Rich fool". so i got to cut back some to a least some films. Look the reality right now nobody is paying me to head to some film fest, like some critics, so this is the only that i can get. Now i will make a small briefing and reviews

Voices:

Ka-in was just average girl, with a lot of life going for. From a lovely family, to a great swordsman, and boyfriend that is always at her side in a time of crisis. That all change when she meet a new transfer student. It seem everybody got some jealousy against Ka-in, turning, mother against daughter, teacher against student, friend against friend, to even sisters.

Critic:

Is been over year that they have shown a very good South Korea film lately. The movie play out more like yer average jhorror film. But the drama, is everytime stranger, cause really there's no motive or reason on why everybody is killing, there's some logic, but really is doesn't cover, like Bruce willis music career. But the Hospital death scene was brutal, with lightning, and the silhoette of the person doing the stabbing, made me get some like it, as for the rest, well it was common sense on what was gonna happen next. So is average horror film.

Autopsy:

When a group of friends head out and party a la mardi grass. Think couldn't get worse, until ye mix drinking and wheels. Crushing, they get more in trouble when they hit someone, with a ambulances coming, without calling for one, they head to Mercy Hospital. where the patient are treated not so good, when the doctor try to experiment on them. Surgery is call for.

Critic

Ok it felt like a Chevy chase film cause of the acting cause really there weren't any drama to the film. Just another teen horror, that the director was more heavy in fluent to the campy ones, i bet some of them were troma. Some of the hospital shots, it felt they were taken out from the ER show. I will give credit to the disturbing scene, on where the girl is reunited with her boy and discover that most of he's organs are on the outside, it made it good, for just 2 minutes. The rest of the killing weren't that good, just very repeated. With Robert Patrick playing the evil doctor, it doesn't save the day to turn it into another film where the victims become the monster at the end, i go with anatomy for a hospital terror.

In a small rural town of America, a series of suicide have been happening, that local are blaming to a family with ancestry of witchcraft. Now a curse is release, causing it, when one become witness to it. He's the next to see he's image of death.

Critic:

Ok this film is almost similar to another horror film that came out last year that starred Keefer Sutherland call Mirrors. Now the different is that this one they don't at it, cause they all ready see them self when they are walking or driving. But what i got me into it, was the wait of the killing that some were good, hell even the suspense play out right. Now the believing on god part was something that i think it didn't fit in. Look i get the son of the Pasteur, is a extremist jesus nut, but later going all evangelical on school, was something that i think exist. With the appearance of actor Thomas Dekker from the terminator series on fox, playing the misterious and antisocial, ye know what i m gonna say. But got to see it was the best of the tree, that have a good story and a well done killing spree, with a twist that really, is excellent.

So how you read this, ye notice i was more critical on the death scene. It just hard to find film that have great one example the 1st saw. But hey is horror, you have know most of this film wont have a interesting story, or some logic, to it. But they entertain. Now knowing that they already gave the release date for the DVD, is better buy perking 14, cause that one had a very good plot that i wanna see, (But damn theater didn't show it). So this is gonna be trend later is gonna be following, so for next they better than 07, adding some monster film to the mix. Well that's it then i see the next batch when they announces them. But of course i wouldn't mind, seen more of the new miss horrorfest. I'm single.

Why Hobo, well lets be honest here every winter they show the next big movies. From the actors who p`lay them, to the effects, to some drama, but as always the waiting begin, that it feel like a hobo with so much time to do, that its think all the time how he's life sucks. Well most of this films are Hollywood, no indie, cause the best one there been is the wrestler, damn is it good. So we got the scream that are made in 3d, to robots that take over, to claws that will make a buck, to old school toys that don't suck, and the watch if ever be release. The top 5 films of this year:

5.-3d horror

is not since the 50's 3d experiences begin, putting audiences under seat and be hack away. Now there's 3 films that are coming out so you can pay that 2dllrs counting the $10 for the tickets. Ahh Wall street how did ya screw us over. With My bloody valentine, 4th installment of the final destination series, to a couple fish call piranhas. Are gonna jump, and some will play wrong.

4.-Terminator Salvation

Here's a franchise that show with bullets and metal you can make a robot bleed some oil, for your car. I m excited with this one, is grim and serious. But can McG pull it off, there's one thing that this man can do, is just make milf look good. But serious their already some that are saying that movie, can very turn out like the indiana jones of this year. I hope not, cause really i giving it a chance to learn how is the future of the terminator.

3.-Wolverine

The x franchise wont die, cause of this guy. Now Hugh jackman made a name of itself bringing the claw man that never have a hair cut, in he's life. Going solo, and introducing some better mutants, like deadpool, and gambit(Im not gay). The film is gonna be that, so will this one start a new franchise, or it will go bad like Steven seagal dvd movie. I really don't know.

2.-80'S toys movies

With transformers 2 and the new G.IJoe , this very well be a even greater nostalgia year(if yer old huh) The anticipation is on this films, with million of dollar in stake. can the Bruckheimer and sommer do justice to this films. When they show some freaking trailer already.

1.-Watchmen

OK ok, i have read the news that fox won the case against Warner for the film, but can they pull the differences aside, and release the film. There already hype for this pictures, from the kick Roharsh act, to the story that is based, and of course the message that have, thing look dark, cause they already set a date to when the film is gonna be in theaters. Alan Moore right now is enjoying this, but hey all i want see is the ending if after all they went with the squid, or just a bomb.
